Pacific Crest Hotel

Absolutely happy to stay here visiting Santa Barbara! Location is amazing right by the beach. Service is nice , front desk staff Caro is a lovely lady who is very friendly and helpful. Bathroom is very clean and new. Didn’t know we have complimentary breakfast so surprise! Plenty of free parking and Ev charging.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pacific Crest Hotel! The room was spacious, the location was excellent, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. After we checked out, we realized we had accidentally left an item behind. When we called the hotel, Naomi and Caro went above and beyond to help locate it and arrange for it to be shipped back to us. We truly appreciate their kindness and outstanding service.

Jamie demonstrated top notch service by going above and beyond my expectations of customer service. She was courteous and professional and made my guest experience comfortable and pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location of the Pacific Crest Hotel made it convenient for walking on East Beach. Other than the fact that the swimming pool was not warm enough for my liking, I am giving this hotel a very well earned 5 stars. Naomi and ALL of the other staff during my stay from Dec.12-15, 2025 deserve a worthy mention and big hand clap, as well!!

We stayed in the room with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette. Here's our thoughts it: Please provide more fresh squeezed OJ We experienced a planned power outage but were not notified by guest services. As a courtesy, if there will be a known power outage, guest services should notify guests ahead of time so they can make sure their phones are charged and make provisions to guests like flashlights and/or lamps. Oven didn't get over 100 degrees. Install shower shelves and hooks for loofahs. We had to put our shower supplies on the floor. We loved the size of the room and kitchen. The room was one of the largest rooms I've stayed in. We appreciated that the breakfast muffins weren’t prepackaged. Air-conditioning was not the coolest Great location, close to the beach

Thank you Naomi and the rest of the Pacific Crest Hotel team! We were greeted by Naomi as soon as we exited our car. Parking is incredibly convenient. It felt like parking at an apartment garage. It is safe and easy to get in and out from. We brought our senior dog with us for this trip and I'm so thrilled we decided to do so. Pacific Crest Hotel is dog friendly and very accommodating. Our room was large and very clean. The kitchen was impressive and fully equipped with all the necessary items. The tea kettle was a home run for me! The location cannot be beat. Everything about this little hotel exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

I had an amazing stay at the Pacific Crest. I was a last minute book because the airbnb my family rented misportrayed how many beds it had. The first night the TV did not work in the room and hotel staff went out of their way to remedy the issue that had occurred due to a weather power outage. When it could not be fixed, they upgraded me and put me in the penthouse suite. It was amazing and I had a great few days at the Pacific Crest. Thank you!

My family stayed for 2 nights at the Pacific Crest Hotel. We used to live in Santa Barbara and picked this hotel for its low cost and heated pool for our kids. The hotel is squeezed into a little area between the SB Zoo and the beach that's mostly other hotel buildings. Driving on the street is tight (welcome to SB!) and I was thankful for some off-street parking, even though the spots are cozy. Pacific Crest Hotel is a renovated motel with two floors of rooms, each with exterior entrance, circled around a central swimming pool. Pool was not heated, at least not to 80 degrees as stated on their website. There are a few EV chargers which are a super helpful amenity. Our room had an efficiency kitchen. It was as good as any AirBnB kitchen set up with dishware, a few pans, and cutlery/kitchen tools. My chief complaints are: 1) Our room was very poorly lit. There was only one light in the entire bedroom-- a table lamp between the beds. It would have been nice to have some overhead lights in the evening. 2) The kitchen window had no window covering/shade. We were looking out at the back parking but as a first floor room, someone could have just walked up to our window and watched us. 3) The grout in the shower had pink mildew and mold-- probably because there's no fan in the bathroom, which would be an easy addition. 4) The spacious closet also needs a light. Ours smelled like animal pee, which doesn't surprise me if the hotel is pet-friendly.
